SPEIGHT HANDS IN RESIGNATION

Monday 29 May, 2017
DAVID Speight has handed his resignation to Stoke promoter Dave Tattum after Saturday’s meeting against Lakeside.

Speight told the Potters promoter “I have had to assess what is right for me at this moment in time. The love has gone and my priorities have changed and I feel that it is the right thing to do for me and for the club. I would like to thank Dave Tattum and Malcolm Vasey for bringing me to Stoke and too the supporters for their support and I’m sorry things have not worked out the way all of us had hoped and I wish the club all the best for the rest of the season.”

Potters promoter Dave Tattum commented “I’d like to thank David for his efforts this season and we obviously wish him well. He has done his very best for us and things have not turned out as David had obviously hoped and he is welcome to visit us here at Loomer Road anytime.”
