STOKE make the long trek South to face the Isle of Wight Warriors in the Travel Plus National League at the Smallbrook Stadium on Thursday night,7pm.

The Potters have drafted in Ben Morley as a guest for Mitchell Davey who is on Championship duty with parent club Edinburgh in what will then be an otherwise unchanged team.

The Warriors will be at full strength for the meeting that includes three former Potters in Ben Wilson, James Cockle and Chris Widman with recent signings Scott Campos and Connor Coles completing the top five. Jamie Sealey and Adam Portwood complete the Warriors septet and it is a meeting that the Potters management are hopeful of getting something from.

Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey commented “If everyone scores and we know they are capable of there is no reason why we should not come away with something from this meeting on Thursday. Ryan Terry-Daley and Luke Priest have been there on a few occasions this season and scored reasonable well and we also have a solid guest in Ben Morley coming in to replace Mitchell (Davey) so hopefully we will bring something back from the Island.
