MILDENHALL v POTTERS - PREVIEW

STOKE travel to Mildenhall for the now 1st leg of their KO Cup quarter final replay clash against the Tigers on Tuesday night, 7.30pm.

The two teams drew 90-90 after the two legs were completed with both sides winning their home fixture 50-40 and the Potters will be looking to keep things tight at the Tigers West Row circuit.

Both sides will be at full strength for the clash with Lee Dicken making his debut for the Potters septet which also sees’ a change in the Potters riding order with Paul Burnett moving into the main body of the team and Ryan Terry-Daley moving to the reserve berth with the introduction of the August averages. Mildenhall also see a change in their line-up as Luke Ruddick moves into the main body of the team with Danno Verge switching to reserve.

Potters boss Malcolm Vasey commented “We will be looking to keep things as close as possible for the second leg at Loomer Road. Mildenhall are a very strong side at home and most certainly proved that in the final heats of the corresponding fixture which resulted in this replay and we will hopefully be able to stop that happening this time. We are going there in good spirits and desperately want to gain a place in the semi-finals as it is a good chance for us to get some silverware this season and we will be doing our best to make it happen.”
