STOKE make the trip to West Row for a third time on Sunday as they take on the Mildenhall Fen Tigers in the Travel Plus National League, 3pm.

The Potters have already faced the Tigers four times this season having beaten them in the KO Cup quarter final first leg taking a 50-40 victory, but in the return leg at West Row the A.R. Richards Potters lost by the same score line resulting in a replay which the Tigers duly won at the Suffolk venue 57-34 with the second leg to still be run. The Tigers who are currently fighting for a top four play-off place with a couple of matches in hand over the sides above them and are looking to gain maximum points against the Potters on Sunday.

Stoke will be at full strength for the meeting as are the Tigers who have a good home record around their West Row circuit although they did lose at home to Kent recently in a last heat decider.

Connor Mountain and former Potters skipper Jon Armstrong led the Suffolk side and they are well supported by former rider league champion Dan Halsey and up and coming youngster Jordan Jenkins with Luke Ruddick completing the top five. Danno Verge and Alex Spooner complete the Tigers septet.

Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey commented “We are going to West Row to give it a really good go and if we can produce the form we did in the first twelve heats of the first cup meeting then we could provide a shock. We need to get off to a strong start and hopefully catch them cold.”
