MITCHELL Davey takes to the track at Leicester’s Beaumont Park on Sunday afternoon in the National League Riders Championship, 3pm.

The Potters heat-leader will come up against the top riders from each Travel Plus National League team as he looks for individual glory but also for Stoke.

Davey commented “We are hopefully in with a shot of the title I consider myself as a bit of a dark horse as not many people are expecting much from me so it’s no pressure really I’m just going there to race and get as many points as we can and see what happens. I am sure Stoke supporters will be expecting something from me and I will do my best for Stoke and we will see what happens as the afternoon goes on and we can hopefully be in the mix at the end.”
