Friday 02 September, 2016
STOKE entertain second placed Kent Kings in the Travel Plus National League at Loomer Road on Saturday night, 7pm.

The A.R. Richards Potters who are currently eleventh in the table and will be looking to arrest a run of five defeats when they take on the Kings who have secured a place in the end of season league play-offs.

Kent will use rider replacement for David Mason and are led into action by the impressive Luke Bowen who has been scoring big points wherever he goes in the league this season. He is well supported by James Shanes and showman Danny Ayres who is doubling up in the Premier League and in the running for the league title at that level with Nathan Stoneman who has made a successful comeback with the Isle of Wight deputising for Jack Thomas. The Kings have Danno Verge and Luke Clifton at reserve and both riders have put together some solid scores to compliment the top five of the side.

Potters boss Malcolm Vasey said “Kent will be a difficult proposition and have been going well this season and they are not second in the league table for nothing. They have a solid guest in Nathan Stoneman who top scored for the Isle of Wight at Birmingham on Wednesday night also, we will be at full strength ourselves for the meeting and we will be doing our level best to get back to winning ways.”
