STOKE make the long trek South to face the high flying Eastbourne Eagles on Sunday afternoon at the Arlington Stadium, 3.30pm.
The Potters make one change from the team that lost out to Cradley at Loomer Road on Saturday night with Danny Ayres coming in to replace Ben Wilson who is unavailable for the clash.
The Eagles have strong top four starting with Great Britain World Cup runner up Adam Ellis leading them into action and he has solid support with Jake Knight, Ellis Perks who has been in fine form recently and Georgie Wood with Gary Cottham completing the top five. At reserve the Eagles have Luke Harris and Connor Fletcher who comes in to replace the unavailable Charley Powell.
Malcolm Vasey said “It will be a very difficult meeting against a very good Eastbourne team who have a very good home record, but we do have riders who have ridden Arlington and are capable of scoring some good points such as Ben Hopwood who spent last season there and also rode for them earlier this season, we have a good guest in Danny Ayres who is scoring well wherever he goes in the National League this season and I’m sure Tony (Atkin) and Danny (Phillips) are capable of scoring a few points for us.”
