POTTERS v KENT - PREVIEW

STOKE host Kent in the Travel Plus National League at Loomer Road on Sunday afternoon, 3pm.

The Potters will be looking to get back to winning ways after a string of defeats and will be looking to turn their fortunes around against a Kings side that is currently second in the league table.

The Potters have drafted in Buxton’s Ryan Blacklock as a guest for Danny Phillips who is riding for his Premierc League side Newcastle.

The Kings have elected to use rider replacement for Danny Ayres and they are led into action by the formidable Luke Bowen who has scored well in his first season in the National League having dropped down from the Premier League. He is well supported by James Shanes who has been in impressice form of late with veteran racer David Mason and youngster Jack Thomas completing the top five. At reserve the Kings have Danno Verge and Luke Clifton who have both improved their average this season and will be looking to continue their form.

Potters boss Malcolm Vasey said “Kent are having a very good season and have proven they are a top side, but we need to get back to winning ways and will need everyone chipping in with some points and I feel we will have just enough fire power to get the victory.”
