STOKE are delighted to announce the signing of 26 year old Mitchell Davey as the clubs new number one for the 2017 campaign.

Davey, who made a successful return to the sport last season rode for Coventry Storm and joins the Potters on a season long loan from parent club Edinburgh who he will double up with in the newly named SGB Championship.

A delighted Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey commented “This is a brilliant capture for Stoke and gives us a very competitive line=up with our top three of Luke (Priest) and Tony (Atkin) combined with the high impact reserve which we believe David Wallinger will be the team is now coming together very well and there is no reason why we cannot be a force in the National League in 2017.”

Davey becomes the fourth signing for the Potters as the management continue their quest to put a team on track that will be looking to challeng for honours in the new season which starts in March.
